Compute
Compute provides server virtualization for a wide range of Windows and Linux-based computing solutions. Virtual machines are one of several types of on-demand scalable computing resources within the Saudi Cloud, and are typically used when an application or service requires a higher degree of control, such as:
- Control the choice of operating system
- Increased configuration control
- Ownership of signature and software updates
- Identify and install the software that runs on the virtual machine

Integrated backup and recovery
Enabling users to create point-in-time snapshots of their drives that can later be cloned and upgraded to create standalone drives.
The cloud-native platform solution allows users to (re)create the volume of multiple persistent virtual drives. It is an SSD and HHD based storage system ideally suited for the high performance requirements associated with big data mining and scientific computing that require high performance storage.
